TOOLING

Our tooling design and manufacturing utilizes the best technology available. Only the highest grades of steel, aluminum and coppers are used. All of our tooling is designed and manufactured with modular individual cavities for easy maintenance. We have successfully manufactured molds that range from single cavity up to 34 cavity molds. Our tooling has stood up to hundreds of thousands of cycles on various sizes of injection blow molding machinery throughout the world.

Over the years technology has advanced at a rapid pace with regards to injection blow molding. We not only use state-of-the-art materials, but our mold design is aimed at achieving the fastest possible cycles. An example would be an older designed 4oz. cylinder round using HDPE 20 years ago would have had only 5 water lines in the preform mold. We have found that additional water lines strategically placed add substantially more control to the process, thereby reducing cycle times and maintaining a much more consistent quality level with much broader processing parameters.
